Enjoy the Brainerd Lakes newest feature, a houseboat vacation in Central Minnesota.

We have a couple of options for you! Rent one of the boats for a 6 hour day or stay overnight!

Always dreamed about renting a houseboat? Here’s your chance. You can rent one of our boats for 2 days to a week. Spend your vacation floating on the slow moving Mississippi River. The river will allow you to navigate about 10 miles of it’s beautiful splendor. Not sure about driving a big boat, we can take you out and anchor you for a day of enjoyment and move you to a new spot the following day,  A houseboat ride on the Mississippi River can make your vacation an experience you will never forget.

Whether you’re looking for solitude, a fishing excursion, a family vacation, or time with friends you’re sure to love time spent on our one of our two houseboats and we’re only 2.5 hours from the Twin Cities.

Miss Guided: This houseboat features a sleeping area below deck (bring your own bedding) with 4 twin memory foam mattresses.  (you do have to crawl – it’s cozy) The main cabin has 2 sitting areas that convert to beds, a large kitchen prep area, a small fridge, small stove & oven, a gas grill, and a bathroom. Everything you need to enjoy a stay out on the water. Our spacious upper deck doubles your living space allowing for outdoor dining, sightseeing and relaxing. This boat has a holding tank for fresh water, that supplies the sinks, shower and toilet.

With sleeping capacity for 6 people, or a cozy 8, you’ll be talking about the memories you’ve made for years to come.

Miss Adventure: This houseboat is a bit smaller and perfect for a small group. All living is done on the main deck. It has a small kitchen (3 burner stove – no oven or microwave), small frig. and dining area, a full bed and twin bunks. You can access the top of the boat for sun-bathing, relaxing and experience the thrill sliding into the river from the top deck.  This boat uses river water for the toilet, shower and sinks. We provide a large jug of fresh water for drinking and cooking.

Sleeping capacity is 4 or possibly 5.

Mix up your stay, some guests will float for the day or part of the day and then dock at night, to enjoy the pool and hot tub, and charge up batteries by hooking up to shore power for the night.  We also supply a generator for power on the water. Gas is billed separately.

FYI – the sun canopy on top was ruined in a storm – no canopy at this time.

To keep expectations clear: These boats were not made for today’s dependence on electronics, nor are they hotels on water. There is no TV and no A/C or heat. The outlets are limited. It is our hope you will unplug and enjoy each other and your surroundings. The more phones, tablets, fans, lights and things you have plugged in, the shorter the time the batteries will last.  Run the generator when needed. Cool off in the river, play games and enjoy the sounds of nature and this beautiful River.
