A Tradition of Hospitality Since 1935
Guests have been coming to Niemeyer’s Rugged River Resort since 1935, when Ted and Bess Stallman first opened the original Fun-Stall Resort. That small-resort charm and genuine hospitality remain our goal today.
We now offer two Seasonal RV parks along with a mix of new and vintage cabins—ranging from one to three bedrooms—all updated with modern amenities.

Last minute Openings:
Cabin 2, is available July 6th – July 11th & 13th -18th.
Its a 1 bedroom cabin with a king bed, screen porch and private fire pit located by the pool.
Cabin #3 is available July 13th to 18th.
It’s a 1 bedroom cabin with a Queen and a twin and futon – overlooking the river.
The Bungalow is currently available from July 9th – July 17th & 19th – 24th & July 26th to Aug. 1st
It is an efficiency cabin but has all the necessities. Bathroom, Full kitchen with dishwasher, full sized bunk bed, a futon, dining table & private fire ring.
HOUSEBOATS: Yes! We have two houseboats available and plenty of open dates throughout the summer. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water or an overnight adventure, now is a great time to reserve your spot. You’ll need to call or e-mail us for daily reservations.

We are full for the 2026 season. We do have 1 camper onsite for sale.
We will know by Sept 1st if we will have openings for the 2027 Season.
