A Tradition of Hospitality Since 1935
Guests have been coming to Niemeyer’s Rugged River Resort since 1935, when Ted and Bess Stallman first opened the original Fun-Stall Resort. That small-resort charm and genuine hospitality remain our goal today.
We now offer two Seasonal RV parks along with a mix of new and vintage cabins—ranging from one to three bedrooms—all updated with modern amenities.

Last minute Openings: Choose your dates within the timeframe – 3 night minimum.
Cabin 5, is Available for Labor Day weekend! August 31st to Sept 9th. It is a 3 bedroom cabin. 2 Queens, a full and 2 twins. Private firepit and dock. We have Live Music Friday the 4th.
Cabin 4 – available dates: Sept 7th to Sept 25th – It is a 3 bedroom cabin. 2 Queens, a full and 2 twins. Private firepit and dock
Cabin 5, – available dates. Sept 13th – 25th- It is a 3 bedroom cabin. 2 Queens, a full and 2 twins. Private firepit and dock.
Cabin 6 – available dates Sept 13th – Sept 25th – It is a 2 Bedroom, with a Queen and 3 twins, private fire pit.
The Bungalow is currently available from September 6th to 19th!
It is an efficiency cabin but has all the necessities. Bathroom, Full kitchen with dishwasher, full sized bunk bed, a futon, dining table & private fire ring.
HOUSEBOATS: Yes! We have two houseboats available and plenty of open dates throughout the early Fall. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water or an overnight adventure, now is a great time to reserve your spot. You’ll need to call or e-mail us for daily reservations.
